I used to have a really strong core and i've been trying to spend more time getting it back. It's not pain, just a sort of sickness almost like if you had diarrhea or you ate something bad. I'd be more worried if it was pain but it's just sort of a discomfort. I used to not eat before rides I'd wake up have a gel to settle my stomach and take away the empty stomach feeling you get when you wake up and I'd go right out. I might start trying this again. The reason i started eating before my rides is because now I'm able to ride longer and typically my rides last till almost lunch time.
That's pretty weird; I've been getting the same feeling, but it came maybe a day after a moderate ride (not that hard, but hard intervals in the middle). It didn't go away until this morning. Really messed up my eating pattern.
