I've always felt that sunglasses make people seem aloof and impersonal. Not being able to see someone's eyes keeps you from seeing a lot of expression. I dislike that. I hear that when sunglasses became popular in the pro peloton that photographers complained that they could no longer see the riders souls or suffering.

My eyeglasses still protect my eyes but let my soul through! Plus they make me look smart-now all I have to do it keep my mouth shut to continue the illusion.
