PCad, what everyone is saying is that Avid brakes are typically in stock at most LBSes. If Avid authorized a warranty replacement they should be able to put one of theirs on your bike and send you on your way and then simply put in stock the one Avid sends them.
Exactly ! Most part's can be mailed with in a few day too, NOT weeks!
