I'm using the yardworks as 20V 12 Ahr batteries. I guess in a sense, the yardworks are lower cost.

But if the new battery pack comes with the correct power socket, I'd have to admit that it might not be worth the soldering time to build my own battery packs.
On the new ebike I've seen the connector and it appeared to be the round three prong type usually seen on most ebikes. It is not the same plug, (rectangular three prong), that comes with last year's Schwinn.
