you can't see very well in that picture, but i believe these are black wheels. the silver is the machined braking surface.

i'm hoping to build up a conversion in the coming months and i think i will go for these because they're cheap and come with everything . you say that 130 is "a bit much", but i haven't seen any other fixed wheelsets for cheaper (let me know if they exist).
