Thanks again for the map. We didn't get to Louisville, though. We had just had a terrific first week, tent camping and cycling in the Red River Gorge area and around Lexington, when we received a call that two of our sons, in their early 20's, had been in an MVA -- passengers in a truck hit by an oncoming 18 wheeler! We were in Bardstown when we heard. About an 11-hour drive.

The younger one was hospitalized in Beaufort, SC with multiple fractures of vertebrae T-12 through T-12. Thankfully, he is well, in a TLSO for 12 weeks, but, "can't keep a good man down!" We took him home Friday before last, to the Augusta, GA area.

Sorry we couldn't rendezvous. We hope to resume our trip, maybe part this fall and the rest in the spring. This road riding isn't for sissies! Be careful .....
