+1 for the "torx is better" camp; real question should be why everyone else is using hex.
I do find the rounded Hex bit on the Park Tool P-handled hex wrenches (or the copies) quite handy.
That and try finding a Torx < T6 if you deal with electronics... those things are a pain to find.
