OK, I took your 2-21/32" measurement and multiplied it by 25.4 (the approx. number of millimeters in an inch (decimals go out farther, but that does for most things) and got 67.468. Sounds like a 68mm BB shell. Many standard BBs are adjustable for use as 68 or 73, by how far the non-drive-side cup can screw into the shell.
While I'm at it, another useful little number to tuck away in your memory banks: .454. That's the factor you can multiply a kg weight by to arrive at the approximate weight in lbs.
