Those NEXT bikes have gone down in quality considerably since 2005. Every year those bikes get worse. A NEXT bike from 2005 was a decent bike that would run for a while before needing service.

A NEXT bike you buy today, the brake pads will wear out in a week, the freewheel usually breaks, steel rims that aren't anywhere near true, the list goes on. I have people come in with their week old NEXTs that need $100 of service and they are still POS.

They can also get rid of that Full Suspension and save 10lbs.
