I have had a series of Rocky Mountain Vertex bikes dating from the 90's to 2000 being my last one. I still have the year 2000 Vertex T.O. They were considered "one season" frames. Very light, responsive and nimble. Avoid one that has been raced hard. They become mysterious creak machines. The maple leaf paint jobs are sweet, especially if you are a proud Canadian. I had a Race Face NEXT LP crank snap on me. I am not a big guy. Lucky, I was doing a track stand at a street light when it happened.

Just saying......
