WD-40 leaked onto carbon brake pads, problem?

Quick question:

Should I be worrying about WD-40 having leaked onto the surface of my Reynolds carbon specific brake pads (some sort of cork compound)? I've dried it off with a rag but haven't taken the bike out since, yet.

* Will it increase wear on the carbon rim braking surface?
* Will it make braking completely ineffective?

Anyone know? Cheers!
