Hi.

I realize this is a very old thread but I have a similar question regarding the latest versions of the same wheels and thought it was better to revive this than to create a new.

I'm picking up my new bike next week and it come with the last version of the black Ksyrium elite. I've been given the possibility to have them replaced by fulcrum racing 3 for an extra 30 €.

If they both looked exactly the same (just to put aesthetics aside) which one would you choose and why?

The owner of the bike shop basically said they were pretty much the same, quality-wise, but that he has much more confidence in the ksyrium since he's been selling them for a much longer time compared to the fulcrum. Of course he also tried to sell me the racing 1 set, but that's out of the equation for now.
