My old schwinn sierra comp (mid 80's model, chromed like a 57 chevy) is finally beginning to succumb to it's age. The rust that began on Galveston island is really starting to take hold... I've dremeled the rust with a brass brush but it comes back faster and faster...
At any rate I'm looking for a new frame. I don't need a whole bike as I've dumped plenty of $$$$$$$$$ into my old one over the years and last winter she got drop bars, dura ace bar end shifters and some other goodies. I'd have to buy a frame and bottom bracket plus a crankset.
What I'm really looking for would be a steel made in the USA frame of recent vintage... prefer new, for under $300.00 or so.
