I have a 2004 Unica with DA, large. I think it weighs in at 17.3 with pedals, cages, etc. Nothing has really changed from 2004-2009 on the Unica, so I wouldn't be too worried about age. Mine rides fine, I have had no issues with the frame. Sorry I can't give you a flowery review, not my style. I can't say anything about the $2K price, I bought my used in 2005 for less. I think the frame normally retails new for $900 but I have seen NOS on ebay for $700 and used for a lot less.
Cinelli's height in the US was years ago and they fly under the radar here so the used ones go for pretty cheap, there is little demand. Their frames are as good as any frame on the market. Historically, Cinelli's main focus was on stems and bars and limited their frame production. They didn't want to compete with the frame companies they were supplying the stems and bars. Giotto sponsored a team in '46 but when Cino took over the business, he stopped that practice. They kept it up after Antonio bought the company in '78 until 2007, when Cinelli sponsored the Endeka team (UCI CT catagory).
