the pedal and bar only will contact wall surface when hanging sideways (against wall) - so, not much damage if careful

Yeah I tried that. Landlord is AGAINST it. I wish I could...... Much cheaper.
(I guess I just shouldn't have asked him if it was OK)

I'm happy though. Now I have a usable work stand to use, instead of trying to prop the damn thing up somehow while working on it.
