My little sister has been towing the twins around almost every day for almost 6 years in all kinds of weather and last summer I found her a really nice Mixte road bike as she wanted something faster and lighter for those days she did not have the girls.

She is all of 5 feet tall and she usually has a few paniers full of gear when she rides alone.

I figure she drops at least 140 pounds of bike, trailer, and girls when she gets "naked" on the road bike and has no idea how freaking fast she is... we did a century last fall and when we got to playing around and racing on some stretches she tore the legs off people who are a little more than half her age.

And those trailers do not corner at all so be really careful.
