The Volkscycle lives! Found this on Tuesday, and did what I could to leave original as possible. The only thing I cahnged was tires, grease, wrap, and cables/housings. It rides very nice, although I only took it up the street a while. It suffers from that 70's gearing, Even in Big/Small I am pedaling at a pretty good cadence. It's more for enjoyment than racing anyway, so I guess I will sit back and enjoy the ride.,,,,BD

The seller stated it was a 72, but I am thinking it's a little newer, with the DA stuff, and locking headset. It turned out nice IMHO, hehe.

BEFORE, sellers full size pic from the ad.

AFTER! Pedals will get rebuilt late tomorrow afternoon if I have time. Going out of town for a few hours.
