Oh come on... that thing is weightless. Wait until the kid is 3 or so for a real workout...

Last night we took the kids on bikes down to South Congress to see Alejandro Escovido at a free SXSW show. (Almost) four year old twin girls, about 40 lbs each, in a Burley D'lite behind my old Kona Fire Mountain. The show was at the bottom of a big hill, so I ended the night with a standing sprint climb of Alpe D'Wheeze. I could barely get the caravan moving, and I wasn't sure I wouldn't snap the chain.

It's a good thing I had BEER POWER.

I rode about 20 miles yesterday on the road bike. The 6 miles on the MTB pulling the trailer was MUCH harder.

EDIT: How does that thing attach to the bike? A hitch that sprouts from one of the rear dropouts, under the QR? Are you sure you're comfortable with the extra pull/twist there?
