The main thing is bare pavement. I don't really care how cold it is as long as I don't have to wallow through rutted-up snow pack and ride slow studded tires even on bare pavement.
+1 - Amen, At this point I never want to see the studded tires again! I don't care how cold it is, or might still get, as long as I can ride on pavement with the slicks I'm happy. It means summer is really coming.
