9/16 inch is the standard size for almost all bikes (kids bikes and some low end bikes have 1/2 inch thread). Yours is a good bike so it will have 9/16 thread. Just make sure you are doing the right side only (the side with the chain). The opposite side pedal is reverse threaded.
