I believe ia had ot climb for better than an hour before I got to where I could stop and Text to the guys that I was bushed. They told me I had already done the hard part but I decide the best bet was to ride home. Climbing is not my idea of recovery no matter how slow it is. But it was a beautiful day and the ride down the hill was worth it.
I was on my Masi and I had never tried a flat bar on a long hill before.
In the background you can see how far the valley floor is.
But for a desert valley it can be pretty green.
But even in the desert we have horse ranches. This one was looking at my bike with suspicion.

I like that white horse! Oh, and the hoofed version is cool too!
