He did a good job considering he was relatively unhurt afterwards. Just scrapes and bruises. Doubt he had enough time to bunny hop, and he probably would have
really hurt himself had he tried it.

It's hard not to question why he changed direction like that. That's bike racing I guess. My friends are doing better, one is off the bike for 2 months, the other will be back in the saddle soon, but his teeth will be about a 6-9 month ordeal. Thanks for the good wishes.
