I did the Mt Hamilton Road Race once -- back in the 1980s -- and I didn't have time to check out the view.
I remember the observatory and the switchbacks that made my hands hurt from all of the braking.
BTW, let me know when you and the diva are in SoCal. Maybe we can get in a ride together.
