Time for a New Ride but which one???

I am researching road bikes as I am looking to purchase a new one. I currently ride a '97 trek 6500 with numerous upgraded parts including mavic cross-links, xtr brakes, white brothers dual crown. With aging in it's onset I have prefered pavement recently and the mountain bike weighs like an elephant as compared to the road bikes at the shops, even entry level. I want the most bang for my buck like anyone else. I have been fitted for a 54 cm bike. I am interested in a few and understand to some degree the component sets of each. I also agree with the concept of rotational weight is better reduced than non-moving parts. Interested in the carbo seatstay bikes. A few considering: Pinarello Angliru with MOst crankset and MOst EDHO wheels, Tiagra 9 vs. Motobecane Grand Srint with Ultegra group and Vuelta XRP Pro wheels and FSA SLK-Light Carbon Fork. The budget is allowing no more than $1200. Will be ridden everyday! Please help with this decision
