After reading many threads....

I took some time to sift through the heaping amounts of garbage and even larger amounts of 'shill' to get to some kinda legitimate information on this motobecane company. Yet, I am still quite unsure as to which bike would be best suitable for my needs. I am visisiting and revisiting an area bike shop. I, of course, would prefer to give the business to the LBS and develope a relationship. After purchasing my first bike that way and then going to the internet for parts and seeing that I actually overpaid for the bike has rubbed me the wrong way. The difference in LBS price vs. online did not warrant the 'relationship' which ended being soured with arrogance on their part. The motobecane stuff has me equally worried because I believe in that you pay for what you get. Money is tight, can afford $1200, need a bike in 54cm, brand new only, not picky about brand names and just want solid advice. NO SHILL OR ANTI SHILL, PLZ! Get over yourselves
