My friend got a Felt w/ full 105 (and Ult. rear, IIRC) for less than a grand ($990 or something). Looked like a nice ride.

Also, I don't know how he pulled it off, but another friend bought a Jamis Xenith Comp or Race (I think it was Comp, though) for $1400. Full carbon bike with awesome components. At a local LBS.
