I choose to take that the wrong way. I'm extremely happy with my converted trek road bike. Except mine is cooler. Not everyone wants a track bike, some people want more stable handling, clearance for wider tires, and a bike that doesn't beat you up for longer rides.

If you want a track bike, look elsewhere, but if you want a good fixed gear for the road, this will be perfect. The shifters are clamp on, so you don't have the unsightly bosses, and you don't have to dremel anything. Just leave both brakes on, and try to to tarck it out too much.
