Don't be put off. Some people are just in their own worlds and they don't mean to snub you. Either that or they're long into their rides and they quite simply have gotten tired of smiling and waving to the long procession on of cyclists riding in the opposite direction.

If you really want comraderie, then do a ride or two with a club.

Either way, just go out and enjoy your ride.
