you may want to consider the all city's.
note: i don't know how well they work myself. my gf just got a pair; has been riding them since wed (one day in rain) and likes them so far, but four days doesn't say much. they seem relatively beefy; thicker than typical junk anyway... straps are nice and long for cutting down.
