There is no great substitute for a real stand. But, you can do a lot with that. I have a stand in my shop. And a hanger like that outside on the wall; some tasks are better done out in the fresh air and sun.

Yes, it would be nice to have a real stand, no doubt. I'll probably mainly use this for cleaning and minor adjusting. I had been looking at possibly doing a DIY stand, but can't decide what I want to do. In the meantime, I'll work with this until I get the urge for something better
