Bikes: Haro Backtrail 20" (MISSING), Fuji Berkeley fixie, Huffy cruisercommuterdeathmobile

I rode a brakeless BMX, but it was much smaller, which made it easier to either jump off or put my foot in the back tire to stop.

For God's sake, just make the bike fixed. You have way more control in the snow that way anyway.
