Not sure whats wrong please help
Long time prowler, first time poster. Here’s the problem. I have a 2009 Gary fisher piranha and don't have much knowledge about bike mechanics. Today I wiped out know big deal just underestimated a street curb, got a little road rash and a few light scuffs on the bike otherwise the bike looks fine, however, when I put it in a gear that uses the #8 gear (the second smallest one on the rear of the bike) it will skip/the chain jumps every couple of turns of the pedal. I looked at the gear and it seems to be normal (no broken teeth and its not bent). Like I said I don’t have a lot of bike mechanical know how. Any suggestions on what might be wrong?
