Sounds like you are pretty damn hurt to me. Man. Laser surgery...not being able to move around...ouch. I hope that you heal fast, and that idiot gets to do more time, and with the most onerous work duty they have there (septic system scrubbing, hog-pen mucking...?).
Going back to work after something like that has got to be tough as well. Many of those guys are in there for a good damn reason. Take care of yourself.
