Installing Yokozuna Reaction Cables & Housings

I just got my Yokozuna Reaction kit from Competitive Cyclist. They were backordered for ages. I plan to put these on my main road bike with some new Swissstop pads one night this week, but I have a quick question for anyone who has used them before.

The cable housing are really substantial, especially the brake cable housings. I have a Park cable and housing cutter and I will do some test cuts on the end before bringing them down to size, but I am a bit concerned they will crimp a lot from cutting. Has anyone worked with these before?

I am considering using a Dremel and a cutting disk instead, but wanted to see if there was any experience out there first.

Thanks
