Got nailed yesterday afternoon by a dog. That the first time it's ever happened to me. Ended up at the after hours clinic til 8 pm. Ruined the ride. People should keep their animals up, but I'm preaching to the choir here.
I carry a pocketknife to stick them with, but haven't had to use it yet.
I have considered the fact that the knife is a bad idea, because it requires that the dog make contact with me before I can really use it and the whole point is to avoid me getting bit..... I am pondering buying a
snake whip and carrying that handy somehow....
