Right now I'm in surprisingly little pain down there -the feeling is kind of like that discomfort that persists for an hour or two after you get racked playing soccer or something. Almost all of my pain is from the road rash covering most of my right side, and a sore right shoulder (I really hope I didn't damage something in there also).

I went in this morning to get the drain tube removed and just for the Doc to have a peek and make sure everything looked OK after the surgery. I have a second followup appointment next Wed, when I will likely find out just how long I'm off the bike (and the wife).

Yes, Aggieland - My wife dropped the bike off this morning so they can check it over for stuff I may have missed in the preliminary assessment. I'm praying there's no frame or fork damage.
