Revisiting the question... How about (as a combo) the IRO 36 hole fixed/free hubs and Nashbar cheapo road rims? The price is right on both of them... I'm only wondering will the rim be sturdy enough for riding fixed gear? Or is the more relevant question whether the hub is sturdy enough (which I'm sure the IRO will be)?
