I'm fairly sure #6 screws in (not sure if it's l/h or r/h thread) and is just a casing with a load of magnets around the inside. The windings are on the axle, but can't be accessed without removing the magnet carrier.

ATM I don't intend to replace #6, I intend to repair it.
