The things I dislike about these rims are the angled edges and the satin finish. Both are completely out of place on a lugged steel machine. (The Sun M13 II rims discussed in another recent thread are virtually identical, though they have a polished finish. Regardless, the cross-section still bugs me.
Otherwise, I think these Mavics are fantastic in terms of usability - it is difficult to argue with any rim featuring eyelets, dual-wall construction, and hooked beads. That is my primary rim criteria (and also why I am a sucker for the '70s Mavic Module rims).
