If it is not in the database you can use the website to customize meals like unsweetened soy milk and cereal. These customized meals show up on my iphone.
I can edit the servings on the iphone.
But what about a customized food, not a customized meal? I have this lasagna in my fridge that I made myself, but I calculated the nutritional value of it - can I input that somewhere, or do I just have to choose the closest thing from the database? I looked at the website for a minute and didn't see anywhere to input a food that wasn't in their database already. I see that as a drawback, if I eat something that happens to not already be in the database, and I can't add the nutritional info manually.
I also noticed the lack of different serving sizes - I like how fitday lets you enter servings in grams, oz, cups, tablespoons, "large apple" vs. "medium apple", etc. - very handy.
