Bikes: Diamondback Clarity II frame homebuilt.

And the box was shredded!

5 minutes after I got home from work today my favorite UPS truck/driver pulled into my driveway. This is good as I am expecting my new Sette Ximo road frame. Mrs Maxx is giving this to me as a birthday present.

OMG, what is he carrying? Most of one end of the box is gone and there are the obligitory fork truck prong holes in the rest. Oh no.....no...no..this can't be happening. Before I would let the driver leave I reached into the box and pulled out......crumpled paper, more crumpled paper and then a lump of bubble wrap attached to something. It looks like a frame. It looks like a frame that seems undamaged. Could it be. My favorite driver is gone and I am now unwrapping yards of bubble wrap.

My some miracle, the frame is undamaged, the secondary packaging inside the outer box has protected it. Here is the first picture for a new album on my profile page. More will follow as various parts arrive. The wheels and crankset will be moving over from my TT bike "White Rabbit" as that project has proven to be a dead end. (the bike was drastically underpowered from the very beginning)

I will have to make a decision on whether or not to use this fork or the bladed aluminium TT fork from the original Rabbit. In the interest of keeping DG happy I may use that fork because it is a true matching white, not just white carbon (silver). Matching white bar and stem are on the next trip from my favorite driver................
