The bike shop called today. They're looking for somebody to build bikes for them. I said "I'll work for bike parts." In the past the biggest problem that I've had with this arrangement is thinking up new, state-of-the-art yet properly retro grouchy parts for my various projects.

It's Maxx's fault. All his talk about the White Rabbit got me thinking about the dark side bike again. I finally decided on Gatorback 28mm tires which means I can move the Maxxis Detonators onto the spare Klein wheelset which means I need a new 12/25 cassette so I don't have to move it when I change wheels. (Did you follow all that?) I called the bike shop about ordering some parts, the owner called me back and here we are.

As soon as the weather turns nice this is going to be a fun summer!
