You'd get the same protein combination (beans and grain), but I'd think it would be a bit weird looking and have a gummy texture if you just put the flour in there without doing something to it first. Dumplings made from the flour would be a good choice, but so would arepas (mmmmm, arepas!). Or you could make tortillas, cut into strips, fry 'em and then serve the chili on top- as long as you use hot oil (375) and drain them well, they really aren't that fattening, and it's a combination made in heaven.
