Resting HR is not a pissing contest, it doesn't mean anything. Not compared to other people certainly and not even necesarily relative to yourself. My lowest that I've seen was 32. These days it doesn't go much below 45, but I'm much fitter now. IMO all that it really indicates is that your metabolism is less active at rest.
