I'm 240 lbs., 5'-11" ... that said, I haven't been under 200lbs. since my second year of HS ... 1977. My chest is 48", waist is 36" and my quads are 28" ... I look funny on a bike. I've also been riding seriously since helmets were "hair-nets". I ride hilly centuries for fun.
I don't climb fast, but I can climb anything, and I can climb all day long.
Weight has nothing to do with fitness ... I could care less about the posers ... it's about the ride, and what it does for
you.
I have my wheels hand-built, so I don't worry about being a Clyde pounding the pavement ... I just put my head down and ride to make myself happy.
