Jesus. One time I got home after being out all day. I randomly glanced at my chainring, and noticed one chainring bolt was completely missing. Just gone. Obviously I quickly put a spare on there. But I wondered what could've happened if I had never noticed, or noticed the hard way.

Looks like I dodged a bullet.
