do you get in front of a crazy driver in your car? I don't.

Why do people think just because they are on a bike and "protesting" that they somehow deserve the right to take up whatever amount of road that they want?

Not saying the driver was in anyway just or correct in his/her action, but if no one gets in front of the crazy guy, no one gets hurt.

Kid on one of our long rides was hit by a car. There were about 300-500 of us and a car wanted to get past all the bikes, can't blame them. Instead of just getting out of the way the bikers on the ride decided to ride really slow in front of the car because she was getting aggressive and trying to rush past all the cyclists on the left. Car got pissed after a couple of miles, revved their engine, and hit a cyclists bike sending him to the ground. The driver stopped and was immediately surrounded by at least 30 cyclists. Her license plate was ripped off and the driver was petrified.

Had the cyclists just moved over 1 lane (it was a 4 lane road) there would have been no issue, no ruined bike, and no injury. A completely avoidable situation that all parties considered could have handled easily.

I hate that stupid people ruin how people view cyclists. Just goes to show that no one is invincible and people who drive hoopties are crazy.

Summary: That video is my biggest fear when going on a long ride. That's why I move the **** over. Simple solution to a simple problem.
