Back to op though, I've been out during that season of Florida (grandparents live in St Cloud). Though not as nasty as the ones on Storm Chasers (those guys are crazy.....
), but I digress. Just wait it out. The best thing about them is they occur at the same time just about every day. The only good thing about it is you can plan around it.
I miss that predictability...
