Last week ago a guy yelled some crap out of his car at a friend of mine. My friend flipped him off, and then the guy slammed on his brakes, jumped out of the car with two other guys, and beat his ass.
We saw the guys who did it playing frisbee next to their car an hour later at the park. My friend called the cops, told them he'd called earlier and had found the people who did it, and they told him they'd come question the people soon. We waited for another hour and no cops ever showed up.
So yeah, **** your horrible advice.
