Bikes: Early Cannondale tandem, '99 S&S Frezoni Audax, '65 Moulton Stowaway, '52 Claud Butler, TSR30, Brompton

The brake is a band brake, cheap and effective. Cheap Chinese kids bikes will often have a band brake on the hub, noisy and useless at stopping the bike rolling backwards.
